This engine has been started on gas and run. A/T Flexplate or stickshift flywheel is included with this engine. Alternator with bracket and alternator belt. This engine can be run in the Dyno for a added charge. Carburetor and timing has been initially set, but should be checked after installing in vehicle. The camshaft has been broken in and the valves adjusted. This engine has been started on gas and run. This engine is spin tested, oil pressure, compression and etc. We recommend a 2800 stall speed torque converter if running a A.T. A higher stall speed is needed for this engine. Aluminum intake with Aluminum heads or Indy intake with Indy heads. New Screw-in rocker studs and guide plates. New 1.440" high performance springs setup to match cam. These are stainless valves with undercut stems that are swirl polished for added flow. Or Indy 61cc Aluminum heads with 2.100" Int. Edelbrock Aluminum heads with 2.02"Int/1.600"Exh valves. More special features of this engine include: 6.125" H beam connecting rods with ARP rod bolts. The balanced rotating assembly (typically includes crankshaft, pistons, rings, connecting rods, rod bearings, and balancer) featured in this engine: We start with 360 AMC block bored to 4.125" Please note: Picture is a generic picture. You will need a higher stall speed torque converter if you have a A.T. This engine comes equipped with a Aluminum intake and will run on leaded or unleaded Premium pump fuel. In most cases by replacing the flexplate/flywheel this AMC 427 CID engine will replace that tired AMC 304 or AMC 360 or 401.
